We live in such a fast paced world. How can you take a moment and slow down?
Right this second you can…
Rub your hands or feet while you’re reading this post
Breathe. Open a window (if you can) and breathe in some fresh air!
Name 5 things you are grateful for, or 5 things that make you happy.
Other activities to try…
Paint! Use whatever you have available in your area. Take even a few moments and just dive in!
Take a bath. There are some great “bath teas” that you can make. L loves lavender, mullein, and activated charcoal in her baths.
Stop and smell the roses…literally! Get outside, go for a walk, stop and smell the flowers!
Eat a meal with someone. Your spouse, family, or even a complete stranger.
Take your shoes off and walk in the grass. There are great grounding techniques! (Imagine yourself as a tree, with your roots digging deep into the ground, feel the Earth beneath your toes!)
Yoga! (There are several great YouTube channels out there – L recommends “Bad Yogi” and “YogaYak“)
Read a book (bonus points if you visit your local library!)
